Success and Performance

Two members of the GDG Club win the second place in the largest AI Hackathon in the MENA Region.

The two school students YOUSRA FARHANI and ABLA HAGANI won the second place in the largest artificial intelligence Hackathon in the MENA region during their participation in the “Hack AI” which took place in August in Tunisia.

Huawei Media and Communication Technologies Competition, an ESI student among first-ranked cloud team

Two teams of Algerian students have won the first place for the second consecutive year in the world final of the “Huawei ICT Competition”. The first team specialized in the field of the network won the Grand Prix, while the second team which specialized in the field of the Cloud won the first place. In all, they were 6 students, accompanied by two tutors.

On November 6, 2020, the 2019-2020 World Finals was held in Dongguan via video conference. A total of 110 teams and 330 students from 39 countries participated in this annual event. The “Huawei Media and Communication Technologies” competition is a global competition organized by Huawei Technologies to promote the development of the ICT sector among young students around the world.

REDOUANE NIBOUCHA and YASSINE CHERIEF in the second place at the CSAW'19 CTF competition

The Sudo_root team, which has two student members from the ESI of Algiers: REDOUANE NIBOUCHA in 2CS and YASSINE CHERIEF in 3CS as well as two students from the ESI of Sidi Bel Abbes, finished in second place in the CTF competition at the CSAW’19 finals (for the MENA region), held at New York University in Abu Dhabi, from 6 to 9 November 2019.

DevFest: a festival for technology enthusiasts

GDG Algiers is a member of the large family of GDGs (Google Developers Group) spread over more than 100 countries around the world. Today, he is a worthy representative of the reputation of the student community in Algeria and is considered one of the most active GDGs in the MENA region. Women Tech Makers, powered by Google, inseparable from the GDG in order to boost women to break into the technological fields.

Algeria ranked first in the Huawei ICT Competition Global Final

he Algerian team participated in the “Huawei ICT competition global final” competition at Huawei headquarters (Shenzhen, China) managed to rank first in this competition which brings together 50 countries and 100,000 students in the Network Track discipline.The Algerian team is composed of:

Meriem BAKRI, Engineer student from ESI Algiers, winner of the Maghreb student engineer prize in partnership with the AUF

An Algerian student from the National Computer Science Engineering School (ESI) in Algiers, was elected “Student – Maghreb engineer of the year 2019” by the Conference of Directors of French Engineering Schools (CDEFI) and the Francophonie University Agency (AUF).MERIEM BAKRI, 24, is a 5th year student at ESI. She received the Student-Ingenious Prize which rewards the commitment of a student  whose “course represents an example for the rising generations”, explains the AUF in a press release.

AMINE REMACHE wins the "J.P. Morgan" sponsor award in Oxford

One of our students Amine REMACHE was among the winning team of the “J.P. Morgan” sponsor prize during the “OxfordHack 2018” hackathon which took place on November 24 and 25, at the Institute of Mathematics of the University of ‘Oxford in England.The project, called “Oxaster”, consisted of developing an application that is used to manage volunteers offering their help during a natural disaster by exploiting data from social networks to define the areas in need of the most relief.

An ESI team wins the Hackathon Alger Legal Tech Hackathon

Congratulations to the ESI ThemelTs team who won the first edition of the Alger Legal Tech Hackathon by Legal Doctrine thanks to their “ Legal Edificium” project. Numidia BOUBADJOU, YASMINE AOUIMER, WARDA IDRIS will have the privilege of representing the Legal Tech Africa community in Zurich during the Swiss Legal Tech Hackathon from September 17 to 19, 2018.

E-bni ( which means my son ) is a web and mobile platform with connected bracelets to improve children life after school.The solution joins the need of young unemployed people to work, to parents who need young people to pick up their children, ordering an activity during the break, tracking movements and behaviors of their children. Congratulations to these exceptional girls.
