           First Issue on Computer Science

The editorial board of the Journal of Advanced Computing Technologies is pleased to
announce the call for contributions to the first issue of the Journal scheduled for publication in
September 15th, 2011. The aim of the Journal is to provide a forum for the dissemination of
original research articles, state of the art reports, as well as tutorials in all areas of computer
science and information technologies. We welcome state of the art reports and review articles
that discuss recent advances in computing technologies, applications in various domains, and
discussions of the new challenges and issues raised by the recent technological innovations,
the emergence of digital technology, and their social and economical impacts.
Relevant topics include, but are not limited to, the following:
        Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Computational Learning Theory.
        Image Processing, Computer Vision, Computer Graphics, and Visualization.
        Programming Languages, Algorithm, and Computational complexity
        High-Performance Computing
        Parallel and Graph Algorithms
        Randomized Algorithms and Probabilistic Analysis of Algorithm
        Web Systems and Algorithms
        Human-computer interaction
        Database Systems and Theory
        Software Engineering
        Information security
        Applications in various domains such as medicine, biology, industry, education, and
        sustainable development.

    •   Final acceptance notification: Augest 15th , 2011
    •   Camera ready version: September 1st, 2011
